logdirector implementation is similar to log4j or log4net. It can replace or extend your existing logging framework. There’s just one line of code to send a log event. It even generates Java and C# code that you just copy&paste in your project. Some logdirector features and the use of events can also cover what is required in your project and reduce implementation time.
logdirector provides an expressive RIA browser interface so any user can access the data. You can configure filtered lists and great looking dashboard pages with charts for individual user groups - and even integrate these page parts in other applications. If you have a mix of several application versions or more than one project (eg. Java, .NET), logdirector can handle them all.
logdirector is different from other logging frameworks and log viewers because the focus is not solely on classic logging statements but also on actual system data that is of interest for other business users or customers. Just one example is that logdirector can keep track of record changes that are relevant for your system users.
The central database with structured log events plus web services fit nicely in your system architecture. logdirector opens up new ways to use your systems' events: comprehensive level monitors trigger emails or custom code.

logdirector processes the system events of more than 2000 Siemens CT and MR healthcare products. In addition logdirector is used as logging framework in the web center department for new application development.
